This Women-only Ceremony is based on the Ojibway Full Moon Ceremony as taught by Elder Mae Louise Campbell. It is immensely powerful to gather as women, sharing the struggles and joys in our lives. As we circle around the fire, we make prayer ties that contain all that we're ready to release and send to the Creator.
Please bring a small square of yellow cotton cloth with some tobacco to put it for your prayer tie, and a lawn chair. Everything else will be supplied. This ceremony is open to women 12 years and up. There is no charge for this ceremony.
Due to Covid, location, date, and time of the next full moon ceremony will be announced when we're free to gather again.
This Drumming Circle is just for pure fun. Bring your drums, rattles, or other percussion instruments and your lawn chairs. We'll open with smudging ourselves, and proceed to honor the directions as we drum. May we be healed by being enveloped in our Earth Mother's energy! No experience is required because you may contribute any sound you like. Some drums and rattles are available if you don't have your own. The circle is open to women 12 years and up.
There is no charge for this circle. Due to Covid, location, date, and time will be announced when we're free to gather again.
