This Women-only Ceremony is based on the Ojibway Full Moon Ceremony as taught by Elder Mae Louise Campbell. It is immensely powerful to gather as women, sharing the struggles and joys in our lives. As we circle around the fire, we make prayer ties that contain all that we're ready to release and send to the Creator.
Please bring a lawn chair. Everything else will be supplied. This ceremony is open to women 12 years and up.
This ceremony is combined with the drumming circle.....See below!
In this sacred space, we can sing out our worries and share our struggles. As women can offer each other our ears and our hearts. We will begin by smudging to remove our heaviness and invite the Divine into our circle. Bring your drums and shakers and a chair to sit around the fire. There will be drums and shakers available if you don't have any. No experience necessary! Open to women 12 years and up.
